As in all of the chronically ill, has to have a treatment of symptoms and complications of child and family support that allows the best possible quality of life of both. Specific aspects of treatment of the symptoms are:

1) Behavior Management: is to establish an effective training of behaviors, applying behavioral psychology. The main objective is to encourage desirable behavior and limit undesirable. Parents and educators should be trained to do.

2) Focus education: promoting the development of communicative language and social skills for what the schools to come the child should be provided with adequate equipment and staff, the long-term goal is for the child to function the way more effective and comfortable as possible in the least restrictive environment. Diagnosis of Autism

diagnosis of autismFirst you need to have a presumptive diagnosis to be done by the doctor, based on information received from our parents and their own observation and then will be sent to specific units or psychiatrist with expertise in autism, which made the final diagnosis.

It will be important to know if the child is really autistic or have autism or mental retardation without a hearing (not heard) or other disorders of language and learning.

Diagnosis should be made within 3 years and this has proved useful in the questionnaire CHAT (Checklist for Autism in Toddlers) that is designed for use at 18 months, at which most parents are already concerned with language delay or social development of their child.

Symptoms of Autism
