Hypothyroidism And The State Of Confusion

Its and odd feeling when your brain gets foggy and you start to question where you’ve been, what you are doing and why your doing it. Mental clarity is a scary thing to loose. Not only is the feeling itself a problem but the terror that not knowing why or having control over it can in itself be a source of loathing you day to day existence.

If some one were to suggest that these condition can all stem from a condition of hormones in the thyroid you might think they were a bit off the mark. But in reality these symptoms and many others related to mental capacity such as memory and being able to process simple tasks may all become difficult at best due to a slow down in the production of hormones from an underactive thyroid.

Aches and pans can wear the same mask as well. Body aches, deep bone pain and muscle aches that have you in a knot and don’t seem to have a specific source can have you visiting multiple doctors or trying every home remedy you cant think of could all be related to hypothyroidism a treatable disease that has the thyroid gland in such a state of confusion that it is not sending out the proper chemical messengers to the body extremities.

The body feeling its support system fading reacts with the sensation of pain having you think you in the throws of some all over sensory attack when you only need to ramp your metabolism back up by restoring the thyroid output. Sound harsh, it is and sometimes getting doctors to start thyroid- restoring therapy is a tough sell since hypothyroidism can’t always be proven with the simple blood tests routinely used to screen the thyroid as a culprit.
