How P90X2 Is Unique From Any Other Fitness Program
P90X2 is simply an evolved workout program that takes the good of P90X and raises the bar. In P90X, there was the introduction to muscle confusion. Does that mean P90X 2 will just be more of that? Absolutely it will be, yet with immensely larger twists and turns to give you a truly unique combination of real life sports and fitness training.
One of the most distinct differences between the two programs is that P90X had a 6 day a week schedule for working out. P90X2 is only but the suggestion is to be using the active recovery formula on your rest days. The more you workout, the more there can be breakdown and with that comes rest. P90X2 focuses on the less is more principle. P90X2 isn’t technically harder than P90X but you will feel the pain in your muscles more so then with P90X.
Another common question about X2 is the question of new equipment for P90X2? Obviously, the goal here is fitness training. Improving people’s lives through a product is the sole breadwinner in advertising. Equipment is often extra options used to expand their business as is the case with X2.
The range of excuses goes if you need equipment to perform maneuvers. So it helps but it isn’t a detail to get worked up about. One of the new equipment pieces recommended for X2 is the foam roller. This is a myofascial release technique that’s used on the Mobility & Recovery disc day. What does myofascial mean anyway? The myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy designed to help you recover while at the same time expand your range of motion. It’s kind of a multi–purpose equipment piece that helps your body not only feel better but get better results when you engage in the other workouts. Not every workout program has this form of therapy intertwined in its presentation. In fact this is completely unique to P90X2.
