Male sexual dysfunctions
Diabetes can cause if you do not have a control and monitoring of the same, many diseases and related problems. Among these there are multiple problems that affect both sexes, but one of those problems directly affect people with diabetes, especially a “bad diabetes.” We refer to male sexual dysfunctions.
Male sexual dysfunction can be caused by disorders of erection, ejaculation, orgasm, tenderness and sexual desire. Diabetes that is not properly controlled will gradually damage the blood vessels, arteries and veins to increase the options of having a male sexual dysfunction due to physical reasons.
In this regard the patient with diabetes should control their disease in order to avoid, as far as possible, this type of diseases, among others. However, we must not forget that many men suffer from sexual diseases without having poorly controlled diabetes, so you can not do a strict relationship between dysfunction and diabetes, although between diabetes and dysfunction.
Of the various sexual dysfunctions listed above the most common and feared are erectile dysfunction and impotence. In addition, this type of disease increases the chance of psychological problems due to the nature of the disease and the mood of a patient with poorly controlled may be suffering depression or other similar problems.
Women treated with standard chemotherapy
Ovarian CancerĀ A U.S. clinical study showed that the combination treatment (Avastin) and chemotherapy significantly slows the progression of ovarian cancer. Dr. Robert Burger of Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania East), who led the research, explained that this Phase 3 clinical trial, the first of its kind, has shown that blocking the formation of tumor and blood vessels significantly improves survival without disease progression in women with ovarian cancer or peritoneal very difficult to treat.
“The results of this trial showed that Avastin is an acceptable initial treatment for patients suffering from advanced ovarian cancer,” he said in presenting the results at the annual conference of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (AUC0) meeting this weekend in Chicago (Illinois, North). Malignant liver tumor
Liver cancer may be primary or secondary (metastasis from other cancers).
It is a malignant tumor developed at the expense either of liver cells (hepatocellular carcinoma) or bile duct cells (cholangiocarcinoma) or blood vessels (angiosarcoma).
The primary liver cancer was rare in Europe and America, but its frequency is increasing rapidly (5000 cases per year in France) because of the hepatitis C epidemic and is more common in Africa and Asia.
- Hepatocellular carcinoma, or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common liver tumors, and it occurs in 20% of a healthy liver, liver more frequently diagnosed with a pre-existing liver disease (cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis) . Unlike Europe, where alcoholic cirrhosis is the main cause of this type of tumor, in the countries of Africa and Asia, HCC is often linked to hepatitis B and C, sometimes to the pollution of food, including aflatoxin. Alzhimer is the Kind of Disease That Causes Mental Damage
The disease is characterized by a progressive decline in mental functions. The disease is caused by certain proteins (Amyloid precursor protein : APP) degrade abnormal. This causes abnormal degradation (beta amyloid) which aggregates form. Probably this form of amyloid damaging nerves which then die. In a post mortem examination is greatly reduced cortex (atrophy) found in cells located outside the amyloid deposits (senile plaques), the cell located in amyloid deposits (neuro fibrillary tangles) and deposits around blood vessels. These deposits are not evenly distributed over the cortex. In particular parts of the cortex in which memory functions are localized, are done in the beginning. The disease begins with memory disorders. In the beginning is particularly disturbed imprinting, this new information is not saved. Patient asks, for example several times a day and forget the same arrangements. Information is stored in the past as memories of the past is still available. As the disease progresses, problems arise even in the long term memory. Furthermore arise early in the disease find language disorders such as word problems, disturbances in language comprehension and word production decreased.
