The brains of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease differ from those of healthy elderly. In these brains are faced with plaques and tangles.

Plaques are deposits of a protein between brain cells. The protein called amyloid. For elderly and particularly in the elderly with Alzheimer’s disease does the degradation of this protein is not good.
